John Hughes has been a professional coach and author for 15 years including 12 years as Managing Director of the UMCA and editor of UltraCycling. Hughes. Hughes has set course records at the Furnace Creek 508 and Boston-Montreal-Boston, finished seven 1200K randonnées and the Race Across AMerica.
Dan Kehlenbach has been coaching cyclists and other endurance athletes for 15 years. He has his master's degree in Sports Science and is certified by USA Cycling and by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Kehlenbach served as a contributing editor to UltraCycling.
